Shifting Sands

Here we are halfway through this extraordinary year where the contrasts of what we can create on this Earth in terms of upliftment versus destruction seems to be getting greater.

For example; How is fracking the expression of our collective consciousness? Where do we collectively destroy our very lifeblood and organism? When I did an inner questing a few days ago around this question I saw that the attitude in me that would contribute to this is the one that is based on: ‘I want. I want more, more more’ whatever the more is; it’s ’I want more for me’ versus:  ” I want more for us, for the whole’. As long as I focus on my individual isolated fear based survival and accumulation, I contribute to that which takes without regard for the health and well-being of the whole.

The shift is not in putting myself in service and sacrificing self. My experience of the last months has shown me that we are in a time where the most important thing is to live in our joy, yet what I see is that the joy of who I can be gets multiplied when it is aligned with my listening to my greater self, my body, nature and to the wellbeing of the bigger organism of the Earth, the Universe and the Cosmos I am a part of. And in this it is not a joy that rejects and tries to avoid everything else that it is not; it is embracing, not polarizing.

I am learning that there is an even deeper step to take in the joyful co-creative partnership with nature, which includes my inner nature, my body and the world.

My own quest and work is to deepen and expand on the questions:
How can we as individuals and collectively learn a new way of living, where we learn from nature to develop partnership with ourselves, our own bodies, others and the world at large not in a static way but in an ever evolving creative way of discovery and evolution?
I am allowing the question to guide me in my next steps of discovering what I can do and how I can facilitate experiences that enable real co-creative evolutionary living.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.

With summer blessings,
Gabriella

Exploring Shadow Lands

Shadowlands

Wow February has moved with a strong energy – realigning many of us!!!

We hear of the pope resigning – maybe with shadowy motives – meteor strikes and much much more …

I’ve just spent a week in sickness and it’s taken me to a very deep place – slowing down, breathing with the larger breath and letting everything take it’s time and going very deeply into the places that I/ we keep in the unconscious – hidden, allowing the treasures from the qualities I/we are usually afraid of to come forward.

i.e. My hips that have been painful for a couple of years yet nobody could find the cause, I saw them as the portals to the ‘shadow world’ – my own and the collective unconscious – and saw that I was holding them tightly shut with great tension.
Once I made that conscious and invited the portals to open I got a glimpse through the portal. I didn’t expect what i saw; It was violence , murder, abuse.. absolute horrors and I nearly was tempted to shut the doors again when I caught myself and asked myself how and where I need to own these energies. How are they manifesting in and through me whether it’s in thought or feeling or small or big unconscious actions of violence towards myself, others or nature.

I realized that the violence lives in me in many subtle and not so subtle ways and I also connected with past lives of warrior-ship  where violence was the norm. When I really felt into the energy in its pure form I noticed that it felt like powerful creative energy that couldn’t find it’s right alignment with life because of circumstances having separated it from Source and in it’s frustration it became distorted.

This gave me a view of compassion and understanding towards anyone caught in the energy of violence and abuse and also for that part of myself.
From that place I could invite this energy in me to realign with life and with Source and found myself dropping deeper and deeper  – allowing the energy to sink down to the core of the earth. There it could reconnect with the greater Dream of the Earth and with the whole and then rise up again as passion aligned with life. What surprised me was that this energy was not moving fast. It was moving slowly but with enormous strength and power – like the energy of growth as I had felt it at imbolc described below:

I invite all of us to explore the treasure troves of our shadowlands to see how our most feared parts could become our greatest allies when we can see beyond their expression into their true essence and allow them to realign with the Source within.

Imbolc 2013

Sonwdrops, sunshine, the sound of a bubbling spring, clear water, the first smell of spring.

Brighid is present. It is time. It is time for her return. It is time for the feminine creative power to take on her rightful place as the fundamental underlying energy of creation. I can feel the gentle but inevitable power – like the blade of grass pushing through the tarmac.

In her soft but firm stride that comes upon us like a tidal wave I see seemingly safe known structures crumble. What has been buried below emerges in uncomfortable and surprising finds that need to be dealt with and be given their rightful places in the garment of green that once again begins to spread over the land like soothing revitalizing restoring balm; It is Brighid’s mantle of fertility that allows new seeds to emerge, germinate and grow.

History of the bowl making project

A few years ago I had the privilege of meeting a coppersmith and singing-bowl maker Ton Akkermans from Holland who has been teaching me the art of making my own singing bowls and healing instruments which now accompany me on musical meditations, sound-weaving concerts and in sound healing sessions.

Ton has worked as a copper- and blacksmith most of his life. He recalled his experience as a blacksmith in other lifetimes and cultures, creating singing bowls and metal instruments in ancient Tibet. His memories as a master bowl-maker in Tibet showed him how each bowl was made very intentionally in deep meditative work – each for a very specific purpose – be it to accompany one monk on his spiritual journey of awakening or for a specified use in a temple or village. Some of the larger and very powerful bowls were hammered by several master craftsmen – maybe even over generations – only at certain times – imbuing them with special vibrational tasks for different times.

Ton was guided to start crafting singing bowls and other healing metal instruments that specifically vibrate with frequencies needed for this Time now, which now he dedicates his life to. He gives bowl making workshops, sound healing concerts and sound workshops with his many handcrafted instruments. He also teaching about re-tuning the old bowls that have been brought from the east to the west for new purposes in this new time we are in now.

I have trained with Ton for many years now and he has asked me to assist with the teaching of the crafting of  bowls and sound instruments. A few years ago I have been joined in the bowl making passion by Quentin Cowen and we set up a bowl-making forge, project and school together near Salisbury, UK

New Sounds and Frequencies for a New Time

A singing-bowl for a the next frequency level

The Bowl for the New Time of Emergence

During December 2012 I had a strong sense that as we move through this portal in time where multiple cosmic cycles were ending – making way for the emergence of a new cycle with a new frequency, that we need to create instruments that carry and sound frequencies and energies for a new time and can assist us to tune ourselves to the vibrational platform of the next era.
I saw that I needed to make a singing bowl to sing us into another level of vibration:
As I described in a previous account of the bowl making journey – my experience of forging with fire, metal and all the elements, what I see, feel, sense and experience is mostly a reflection of the process I am working with as it is mirrored in the making process.

disc-in-the-first-fire.jpg

‘When I put the plate for the new bowl into the fire the clock strikes 12 on the 6th Dec 2012. It calls me to pay attention: While the brass plate is in the fire I align from the heart centre.  My glowing heart flame connects with the heart of the Earth and the heart of the galaxy. I sense the heart as the still-point and centre for transformation.  I see the centre of the vortex around which all planets, the whole solar system and galaxy are realigning and shifting into a new frequency. I ask this new frequency to be imbued into the metal as the fire brings it to glowing gentle pink.
In my first round of hammering – spiralling out from the centre – I feel a strong core being established, but then my experience of having the frequency of the core spiral out and flow through all the places right out into the furthest reaches of the periphery feels like really hard work. The metal is jumping, bucking like an unruly stallion, warping and twisting. It seems the metal hardens so fast I need to summon all my strength and power to do the hammering.
So I take it back to the fire to ask for help and assistance; I sense the dragons, those mythical beings of great power that work with the causal planes of existence. They are present immediately – ready to assist and co-create. I am especially aware of a great black dragon, who I know assists with deep transformation. I feel the power in my belly and lower chakras.
The fire is raging – I feel the dragon’s breath – consuming old structures that cannot be a part of the next level of creation – transforming, digesting and realigning the energies, out of which a platform for the next level of creation gets established. We are ready to co-create together.
I see that from this place of alignment, power, passion and ruthless love that knows the abyss new creations can come forth:
This time as I start the hammering – (having cooled and cleaned the now shallow plate) – I feel many beings – including the dragons – present to co-create this new vibrational platform for creation. From the centre out we move step by step. I can feel the shift rippling out to the very periphery of the universe as I hammer out to the periphery of the bowl. Moving around the periphery I feel myself gathering the strands from the edges of the universe and then as I spiral back in I feel many beings/ energies/ intelligences who are all a part of this ‘gear shift’ in the universe, the galaxy and the solar system moving with me – bringing strands to weave into the bowl as a frequency. As all are coming closer in towards the centre as I spiral in there is a huge intensification and amplification of the energy! I sense I need to take it back to the fire.
(The plate has now become a bowl – the hammering with all this assistance was so much less effort than in the first round!)
As I take it back to the fire for a third time, the fire has a very different quality. This time it is soft and gentle and of a different frequency. It feels like it is the frequency of having passed through the eye of the needle, through the vortex and through the still point. As the soft glow spreads from the centre of the bowl outwards I feel grace spreading gently. I sense the frequency of earth being reborn and all of us being witnesses, midwives, and space holders for this miracle.
Now when I hammer I feel the vibration of the heart of Gaia spreading, spiralling out into the periphery – with grace. And as I spiral back in I sense all life/ all intelligence that is in resonance with this heart vibration respond – weaving and co-creating new dreams of life and limitless possibilities into Gaia’s energy field. These are in relationship and contact with other life in the galaxy – complementing to create in beauty, love and with heart intelligence. I feel so much joy as I hammer (or it hammers me?)

photo1108.jpg
I take it back to the fire one more time to release any limitations my own perception might have placed in the bowl and I invite the limitlessness… The fire lets the bowl glow in all rainbow colours.
To complete the bowl I now need to hammer and smooth it from the outside over a metal mushroom. As I hammer – again I sense many presences taking part, much assistance wanting to come in for everyone who is willing to come along in this step of shifting gear. Much help and assistance is woven into the vibrational body of the bowl – I sense the possibility for humans to be assisted to step into the unknown – to realign the separate ego self to the greater Wholeness in trust and the knowing that all co-creators of the universe are here to work and create with us in joy beauty,   love and grace.

In Gratitude,
Blessed Be

Sapphric Gold

Celebration for the sound-weaver duo Sapphra; Heather and Gabriella

Our first joint CD ‘Sapphric Gold’ has been completed  –

the sound frequencies wanting to assist in this powerful time of transition, change and awakening:

sapphric-gold-cover.jpg

The name Sapphra was received in an inner experience by our friend Adam Gainsburgh – Astrologer and psychic – who saw that our music was allowing a cosmic golden nectar called Sapphra  to flow onto the earth. We experience the flow of this golden nectar – carried by the celestial bees -when we play. It breathes life into new forms – clearing, cleansing, uplifting and deeply nourishing all who are present in physical and non physical form. It raises the frequency and creates a field of coherence and beauty, within which alignment and healing can take place

For more information about the work and background of Sapphra go to: http://peace-trails.com/sound-work/sapphra

The music of this recording was played through us in one magical day in August 2011.
Deep plant spirit medicine journeys and profound experiences of interconnectedness with all life of many dimensions preceded the recording day  We offer our thanks to the plants and many kingdoms of nature who co-created and inspired.
This inspirational sound weaving is a creative expression of love and partnership between humans and all of life to assist in the evolutionary shift of this time
We offer this music for inspiration, meditation and healing, massage, shamanic & soul journeys, assistance to reconnect and align, joyful celebration of life, opening the heart to peace, joy and love, for the enjoyment of listening and beyond….

What other’s say:
‘I listen to your Sapphric Gold cd frequently as a sort of MOT for my system & although I may not fully understand what occurs, all that really matters is that I find it hugely beneficial being “re-tuned” ! Love  & Light, Sarah x’

The alchemical journey of making of a singing bowl

The alchemical journey of making of a singing bowl

In our practice of crafting new singingbowls for this time we reconnect to the tradition of the ancient bowl makers of Tibet who worked the bowls in meditation and prayer, infusing it with the spirit of the purpose it was made for. We perceive the process of the work with the elements of fire, metal, water, air, wood to be an alchemical process of transformation and incarnation. The incarnation – coming into form – of a very specific and unique frequency.

Our focus is not so much on the particular tuning but more on the quality, purpose and essence of the sound.

My own journey with making bowls has evolved over the last few years as I have been crafting bowls for my own work and others who have asked for healing bowls and bells.

Making a bowl is an adventure I become deeply immersed in:

The fire is crackling, the flames licking around the golden disc – a round piece of brass destined to become a singing bowl. It had been carefully chosen, cut out of a larger plate and filed into a smooth precise circle to get to this stage of being in its first fire, where it leaves its past behind and begins its new destiny as a singing bowl. I close my eyes listening to the fire and think of the person who has asked me to craft this bowl. For the purpose of this writing I will call her V. I feel joy, I see cherry blossoms and flowers. It’s spring in my inner vision while on the outside high summer is surrounding me. An uplifting energy. The golden disc in the fire changes colour, many colours – absorbing the rainbow before it glows and I take it out to cool down.

It’s blackened now and I need to clean it before I start the process of hammering.

Ash, air, water, acid all play their part in the early life of this singing bowl.

Before I start hammering I connect with V in prayer that it may serve her highest good and evolution in the frequency it brings through.

As I start hammering – spiralling out from the centre of the disc to the periphery and back into the centre – I am still filled with joy, cherry blossoms and nature and very soon a beautiful shallow plate stands before me.

As I continue working I perceive on the inner levels a shape that had been held in a particular form for a long time popping open like a flower bud, As I keep working and hammering – spiralling in and out – I perceive the flower opening to reveal a great light inside in form of a pistil and stamens  – again like the inside of a flower. They grow and I feel that this is connected to V – who I am inwardly working with – beginning to stand up in her own power, light and authority. I perceive a little brown speck on the side of the pistil and wonder what it means.

I decide to stop and arrange to talk with V who lives halfway across the world at the next possible time.

When we get to talk she completely understands the images and she knows exactly what the brown speck means. In her life she is being challenged by circumstances at work and in her private life to step up into her authority and take her power but at the same time she is hugely challenged by all of the difficult issues.

I decide to take it slowly with this bowl. Big processes are at work here, time is needed for them to play out and integrate. We decide that we weave into this bowl the intention that the bowl may assist her and others with its frequency to be able to stand in their fullness and find the highest expression for her/their innate gifts, so they can shine and be fully expressed and received and make the greatest impact.

A few weeks later I take the bowl back to the fire with this intention and ask for grace in this process. The fire is strong. It dances with the bowl with both strength and gentleness.

As I continue the hammering, the bowl deepens. I feel V’s warrior spirit. We are reaching deeper into layers of her unconscious as the metal stretches and expands beyond its easy comfort-zone of the first rounds. Now the sound is also in stretch-zone. (I have frequently experienced that if the making of a bowl works with a deep process it invariably goes through a stage of ‘chaos’, where the sound is awful, dissonant, the shape a little crooked and you wonder whether it’s ever going to make it through!) This one is no different.  As the hammer deepens the bowl, stretches the metal, I feel I’m riding waves of turbulence, but there is also determination, trust and strength. We ride the currents of turbulence for another couple of weeks before I feel the energy shift and I know I can pick it up again and bring it into the next level of coherence.

It has become a beautiful deep balanced shape of half a sphere in which it stabilizes.

With feedback from V I get that she really has been stepping into a new role in her work, has empowered herself in other areas of her life, taken big steps and decisions and is continuing to do so.

I now start to work on the bowl from the outside. I use a wooden hammer over a metal mushroom anvil to smooth out all the bumps. I am sensing a lot of support arriving for V as I work. Gifts being passed to her that she will now be able to use as she is coming into accepting her power and authority.

As I put the bowl into the fire for the last time – not in order to work it further but for it to release any of the struggle and receive the blessing and strength of the fire I find a sweet smell in this fire. Laurel leaves have found their way into the kindling. Wow. The smell is uplifting. I realize laurel is woven into the wreath of Victory. V, you are victorious!

The sound is magical. My feeling is that every time I play it, a doorway opens. The lower note provides the warm container and the high note reaches way up into the stars, activating the remembering of the gifts we have brought with us.

It’s mysterious. Not an interval I would have conceived or chosen. A tri-tone stretched over another octave – bridging the visible and the invisible, the conscious and the unconscious into a sound that is both warm and at the same time creates heightened awareness and alertness – a powerful assistant to raising consciousness – stretching us out of our comfort zone into alert strength and presence.

V is deeply moved. The journey has been a lot bigger and deeper than either of us expected when we set out.
I am also deeply moved by the journeys I get taken onto in the forge and the grace with which the elements work with us when we invite them and allow ourselves to be the instruments in this grand orchestra of the universal symphony.

A 9 month journey of living in communion with the earth

Having worked and co-created with the intelligence of nature as a gardener, musician, sound healer, facilitator and sensitive for many years I recently have become increasingly aware that the veils between the worlds are becoming thinner – giving me the experience of more access to other dimensions. It seems that our conscious involvement and responsible co-operation with this intelligence is becoming ever more important. With that awareness also comes the excitement that we are indeed being invited to extend ourselves towards Nature in a more active and conscious way and realize the incredible potential for creative solutions and quantum shifts that are accessible to us when we live and work more fully in co-creative partnerships with the Earth and all intelligent life on Earth – in truth, integrity, respect, honour and love.

In 2011 I spent some time living in Tamera – a peace community and eco village in Portugal, which rightfully calls itself a ‘healing- biotope’.  A place where humans live with respect for, and in partnership with, all life.  I experienced the practical possibility of a different way of life as a society in this current world – based on peaceful co-creation.
Upon my return I experienced the stark contrast and realization of how far the lifestyle of disconnectedness has become the norm in our western world with numbness the result.Several months later I am stirred to contribute to the reconnection of our whole culture in a more supportive and consistent way – inspiring and facilitating  people to take conscious steps in creating pathways for the collective to reconnect.
I also feel that we need to get together in groups to learn to build new structures and support each other in the creation of ways of living that are more in harmony with the Earth, our deeper Nature and the interconnectedness of all life.
I celebrate the many initiatives of deep change that are emerging all over the world and would like to offer this contribution – deepening my own practice and work of the last decade.

Bosnia 2011

Journey to Bosnia 20-27 may 2011

In may 2011 a group of 7 of us traveled to Bosnia to join a yearly peace-conference of ‘from heart to peace’, which some of the group had been supporting and attending to for 18 years since the start of the Bosnian war in 1992. This dedicated group led and inspired by Gillian Kean and Anabel Farnel Watson had gone into Sarajevo in the middle of the war into places of danger and unrest to support those at the effect of the war and to bring hope, friendship and solidarity, where the nature of this war of ‘ethnic cleansing’ was the opposite. I felt privileged to be a part of this group allowed to contribute with music and sound as we journeyed.

At the conference met several people who had survived the horrendous concentration camps, where there had been systematic torture, rape, mutilation and killing in the most horrendous ways imaginable. I learnt about the incredible human creativity in its most distorted form. Most survivors have lost most or all of their families and still to this day suffer discrimination and hurdles at every corner, having to face the reality of people who murdered and tortured them and their families live freely and even in positions of power and authority.

I was moved by the incredible resilience and strength of the beautiful people we met, their ability to be in joy, burst into song and stay positive in the midst still rampant discrimination against them.
It became clear to me that they felt deeply supported and strengthened by the regular yearly visits from this dedicated group of friends from England who had stood in solidarity, support and friendship through thick and thin since the war began.

It seemed that because of this ongoing support over the years trust had been built and there was space for stories of incredible horror to be shared, so that they weren’t carried alone. As our group listened, held space, provided new perspectives, ears, recognition and acknowledgement of the incredible journeys shared, allow spontaneous joy and celebration as well as bring sound to honour and transform some of the very painful patterns and trauma held in people’s psyche, bodies and in the land itself.

One of the most rewarding moments of the trip for me personally were when two of the camp survivors whose nervous system was so distraught that they could only manage to live with daily valium pills said on the 3rd day that something about the music we had created had facilitated such peace inside them that they hadn’t needed their pills for the last two days.

Following the conference we journeyed through other parts of Bosnia, where we had guidance to go. Another highlight of our journey was our visit to the Bosnian Pyramids and underground labyrinths that had only recently been discovered. http://www.bosnianpyramid.com/

The landscape of Bosnia is truly beautiful – Bosnia Herzegovna being part of the heartland of Europe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina

Dare To Care – A Love Based Economy

What an incredible time we live in!Many people out in the streets taking a stand, which says clearly that the world, as it is, does not make sense or works!

Some of you know that I only recently returned from a month of immersing myself into an experience of living and working in a peace-ecovillage / healing biotope in Portugal (www.tamera.org), where I received tremendous inspiration and insight into how deeply we are entrenched within a matrix of separation in our ‘normal’ reality and what steps we can take to build a different reality that is reconnected and sane. This will powerfully inform my future work and teaching.

In this climate it seems like perfect timing that as we need answers to the urgent questions of how to create a different reality my friend Louis who has been a trusted companion over many years has finally written his book: ‘Dare to Care’ offering pathways perspectives and steps towards an ‘economy of love’. He has researched the depths and heights of how we can transform the current money system that creates the matrix of separation into an economy of love – remembering the principles of caring and sharing – the basic flow of the heart.

The publishers realized the urgency of this work and pushed the publication, so that it has become available just as the ’Occupy Wall Street’ movement has been moving around the world.

I feel it to have the potential to make an incredible contribution towards offering solutions to the current problems along with a huge shift in consciousness and paradigm, which is exactly what is needed at this time of fundamental change!

For those who are interested Here is the description of the book, which is now being launched by and available from Amazon and Cosimo:

It’s just been made ‘book of the month’ by Cosimo: see review: http://www.cosimobooks.com/blog/2011/11/07/cosimo%E2%80%99s-book-of-the-month-offers-a-new-financial-outlook-in-this-economic-crisis/

also this press release:

http://www.prlog.org/11718694-dare-to-care-new-book-that-will-change-our-financial-attitude-and-future-for-the-better.html

Dare to Care, a collection of ideas and initiatives to change finance as we know it, is a platform for global citizens to work together and maneuver through the world economic and financial crisis. The ideas presented within-of changing our mindset from a money-first to a care-first attitude-are meant to stimulate thoughts about our current monetary system and economy and how we truly want them to function.

Author Louis Böhtlingk presents a workable method for us to change the way we think and feel about money, using it instead to support our fellow man, the Earth, and the gifts we all receive through each other and our planet.

Dare to Care stresses that with a care-first approach, money can support our efforts to create a better world without greed or fear of going without. Böhtlingk shares his vision for a love-based economy and a care-first world, using examples of businesses, organizations, communities, and individuals who have made this approach work for them and those they serve.

Dare to Care encourages readers to approach finance and economics from a new perspective, one which urges them to reorganize their own approach to money and empowers them to act and achieve a care-first worldview.

Comments:

“In my 25 years as an entrepreneur, there has been a rule to keep one’s heart out of business decisions. Dare to Care boldly disrupts this rule with a vision of finance and economics that integrates heart and mind, left and right brain, and weaves hard economic facts with lyrical poetry. It highlights thriving businesses, banks, and non-profits which employ Care-First vs. Money-First as a long overdue pathway to true sustainability for all people of the world.” -Leslie Danziger, Co-founder and former Chairman of Solaria Corporation, USA

“Louis Böhtlingk has given us a clear way to create a renewed sense of how to assess the tools we have and our needs. The poetry of Dare to Care is a personal policy that should become the basis of a newly defined economic policy for all. How do we turn it into a new course book for candidates seeking Economic PhD degrees?” -Michaela Walsh, President/Founder of Women’s World Banking, USA

About the author:

LOUIS BÖHTLINGK is a visionary who has worked as a counselor for more than 30 years. With his wife Sandra, he has created multiple platforms with which to address the money issues that individuals and companies experience. Louis is also the creator of the “Meeting the Mystery of Money” workshop, which has been held throughout the U.S., the U.K., and the Netherlands and helps individuals to reorganize their finances and lives with a care-first approach. unplugging

We find ourselves in the middle of a deeply significant year and time in Earth History and the month of eclipses during June and early July seems to have brought much into focus. Here we are halfway through this year 2011 and already the amount of significant world events is staggering!

While I was traveling in America in April, several things were highlighted in attunements: It is more and more important to unplug from some of the more destructive aspects of our culture and society, letting go of some of the things we have taken for granted for many years. Personally I saw I needed to unplug from sugar and sleep out on the Earth to be more in direct contact and resonance with the energy-field of Earth.

Since then I am feeling the benefits of these changes…

If you feel a resonance here you might ask yourself as to how you could unplug from a way of life that might not be sustainable. Find one habit, that you could change, which would un-stick you and bring you into deeper resonance with your true connectedness with the Universe, Nature, Peace.

Guest Blog by Nita Gage: Close Encounters – Crop Circle Experiences

Guest article by Nita Gage: Close Encounters of the Unexplainable Kind

A “spiritual cathedral” was  the description of the first crop circle I was privileged to experience in the summer of 2012 in Avebury, Wiltshire, England. crop_circle_1-300x215

“Profound, mind blowing, my view of he world is turned upside down.” Lee exclaimed as she sat mesmerized in the center of a crop circle.

My friend Lee was visiting me while I lived in England.  She is an Americancollege lecturer and generally intellectual and pragmatic, not usually impacted by new age spiritual experiences.  I thought she might enjoy going to a crop circle in Wiltshire, just for a lark. I had longed to visit a crop circle for several years, sensing I would have a profound spiritual experience.  Lee’s experience was the one I expected to have myself, thinking she might, at best,  find it mildly interesting..  Yet it were her eyes that were glowing, her demeanor transformed, energized and yet visibly soft.

I, in contrast, walked away from the crop circle experience, feeling flat, somewhat confused and deeply disappointed that I had not been catapulted into spiritual awakening. I was somewhat embarrassed by my response and chose to keep it hidden from Lee and my other friends that day.  Instead I focused on the beauty of the landscape and listened intently to the incredible experience Lee and the others were having

I was deeply perplexed and curious over the conflicting negativity of my experience with that of the others who found it uplifting and positive  Over time, I came to understand my response leading me to revisit Wiltshire and a new crop circle that appeared two weeks later.

My friend Lee returned to America, and I was left to sort through the depression and despair I was experiencing after the crop circle.  I dove into research about crop circles and the experiences people have when during their visits. Some people visiting the circles experience physiological effects including heightened awareness, feeling subtle energies, headaches, and a profound sense of peace. Research conducted with scientist Masahiro Kahata into brain wave patterns indicates that brain waves are affected by proximity to crop circles (CPR Database Ref. # 93-029,073, 079, 080). Spontaneous healings also have allegedly occurred inside crop circles.

“Aha,”  I said out loud “headaches! So not all experiences are positive,”  I found that somewhat comforting.

In the meantime, Lee called and told me that she was continuing to feel the expanded awareness and deep connection to a spirituality she had never experienced. And it is worth noting that two years later she reports to me that she has continued to be impacted by the shifts in her consciousness precipitated at the crop circle that day.

A few nights after the crop circle visit,  I dreamed of being back in that same crop circle. It was  a lucid dream in which I stood on the edge of the circle and as I entered it, my dream body shuttered, and I felt my very molecules and DNA dissolve.  In the dream I was speechless, no words for the experience, no explanation, yet, I was at peace  Floating to the center of the formation, slightly elevated from the ground in the dream I  grasped the inexplicable nature of the creation of the crop circle phenomenon, and yet there was no confusion for me in the dream.

In the first moments of my awakening reverie, a message came to me explaining that my reaction of despair was the cognitive resonance of my rational mind seeing “the impossible” manifested in front of me.  The egoic attachment to needing everything to be explainable, in that moment crumbled and I was left in a deep sense angst as I sensed the abyss of ‘not knowing.’ Though I have always been open-minded and could intellectually accept strange and unexplainable things in an abstract sort of way, the safety of my skepticism kept me at arms length from allowing full acceptance of mysterious phenomenon.  The crop circle experience trumped my skepticism and on an unconscious level, suddenly everything I thought to be true and certain, no longer was.  My false foundation of rational certainty was shattered. I was terrified that day, yet instead of experiencing terror, I collapsed into despair and depression.

The dream gave me a context to talk about my experience and to research it further. I called friends who work with the crop circles who assured me that my reaction was not uncommon and that I was being blessed with a deep spiritual awakening and breakthrough out of egoic consciousness.  I was greatly relieved and knew that the transformative experience would be to return to a crop circle.  Two days later I learned a new one had just formed near Avebury.  I went with my friend Gabriella, a crop circle expert and accomplish sound healing practitioner, who had been with us to the first circle.

We arrived and instantaneously I felt the expanded awareness of stepping onto the formation.  Electricity shot through me entire body.  I sat down and meditated with Gabriella playing her singing bowls. We were miraculously the only people in the formation allowing us to meditate and sound the bowls without interference.  Information seemed to come to me, almost as a download from the formation. I sensed that the formation came from messages deep within the earth.  I felt my body resonate with the energy of the earth, the circle and the air creating an experience of oneness.

We sat a long while, then, in silence, we moved through the entire formation, spiraling  through each compartment as though walking a labyrinth.  We emerged, sounded the bowls one more time, looked at each other and knew we were complete with that experience.

Leaving a crop circle for the second time, I too, was for ever changed. Skepticism transformed to curiosity with a touch of discrimination and that shift in perception and thinking continues to impact all parts of my life. A renewed trust in the not knowing, the unfolding and emerging of existence doesn’t need a rational explanation.  In fact, life is a whole lot more fun and filled with wonderment once the need to know cleared out and left space for experiencing the mystery of life on earth.

As I walked away, I asked for a message of guidance from the energy of the crop circle, what I got was this:

“You are charged with bringing others here to discover the wonderment and transformative energy of crop circles.”  I knew then, at some point, I would be facilitating this trip to Avebury!

We live in a unique time in history during which the ancient indigenous knowledge and mythology of the past are fusing with the science of the present. Nowhere is this more evident than in the field of medicine. Modern medicine is open in a way it has never been before to alternative and complementary theories based on subtle energy. Some of these healing modalities, such as Reiki, create patterns and symbols with  frequencies that facilitate healing. Shamanic Breathwork participants often speak of the symbols, sounds and energy experienced during their journey that they later learn are ancient healing energies.

Healing frequencies are used to shift mind and body. Sound waves create frequency patterns by vibrating particles into specific geometries. Words have vibrations and can change the composition of H2O (Emoto, 1997)

Many researchers have speculated that energy sound waves may have vibrated the earth and created  crop circles. Others posited that crop circles are created by beings from other planets of dimensions.  Many have observed orbs of lightmoving in patterns over the crops as the formations appear.

There are few unexplainable mysteries more accessible than crop circles. Each spring and summer these enigmatic patterns appear overnight in crop fields, particularly around the Avebury landscape temple in Wiltshire, England. Cosmic works of art, ET communications in sacred geometric format, pranksters’ hoaxes, spiritual guidance or a warning voice from Gaia, whatever your opinion crop circles are fascinating and truly remarkable.  And, for many, life altering!

Sound Weaving

Sound Weaving

through Sound Meditations and Sound-Weaving Concerts

Sound meditations  and sound-weaving concerts are powerful gatherings of people who come together to celebrate, hold space, meditate or send energy to particular causes, events, people or countries- raising the collective vibrational field.Deep inner journeying gets facilitated through which one can reconnect with the inner stillness, peace and life-purpose alignment through the sounds and songs co-created by Gabriella and her guides and all who are present.

The intention held by the group calls in the sounds, frequencies and vibrations relevant to the particular intention and creates a powerful vibrational energy-field in which re-alignment to the new vibrational level can take place in each individual, in the collective field and the environment.

The music and sound frequencies – often described as angelic, pure, clear and of exquisite beauty – facilitate a coherent morphic field – enabling all matter and energy, atoms and DNA to unwind  and function at its next highest level of harmony

 Applications of Sound Weaving

  • Project initiation and facilitation: It can assist and facilitate projects coming together, with the possibility of working more deeply and consciously with the multidimensional intelligence available to co-operate with us at all times.

  • Focalizes Seasonal Celebrations and Ceremonies to bring the energies of the time, the place and the many beings of nature together with the focussed holding of the occasion and the collective  and individual prayers of those gathered.
  •  assists in the clearing of land and houses, enabling all energies to find their rightful places within the whole.
  • facilitation of Shamanic Journeying and Healing  and Transformational Journeys
  • On Pilgrimages and in Powerplaces Sound weaving can facilitate the vibrational shift necessary for those present to access different levels and dimensional frequencies and realities.

TESTIMONIALS;

‘From beginning to end, the experience was mindblowing. When you spoke about your connection with nature, I immediately had the sound of wind through trees ringing in my ears, and I had an image of larch trees in a small wood in a valley with white topped mountains in thedistance.  The season would be late spring/very early summer. The gongs were so multilayered – I didn’t know there was so much sound possible from a piece of metal.  The cello playing was extraordinary. When you started singing, I felt as if everyone in the room was floating a few inches above the ground.  Such a lovely song about love!At the end, when you invited us all to join in with you, I had the image of the sound coming out of everyone’s mouth and then joining at a point in the middle of the room near the ceiling, then expanding again through the ceiling like a vortex’.  Sylvia Kendal,  London
‘I am still talking about my personal experience while in the audience . Thanks for a wonderful adventure.  I wrote in my Journal that you rewove my DNA. I’m in gratitude.’ L K
‘Dear Gabriella.  I want to thank you for your ministry.  I was much affected by your workshop and concert.  I feel more connected with my true self, like I am awakening from a deep sleep.  I will think of you as I continue to use music to heal.  Blessings to you.’  S. J. F. (Virginia US)
