Journey to Bosnia 20-27 may 2011

In may 2011 a group of 7 of us travelled to Bosnia to join a yearly peace-conference of ‘from heart to peace’, which some of the group had been supporting and attending to for 18 years since the start of the war and afterwards we travelled through other parts of Bosnia, where we had guidance to go.

On this journey we met several people who had survived the camps, where there had been systematic torture, rape, mutilation and killing in the most horrendous ways imaginable. I learnt about the incredible human creativity in its most distorted form. Most survivors have lost most or all of their families and still to this day suffer discrimination and hurdles at every corner, having to face the reality of people who murdered and tortured them and their families live freely and even in positions of power and authority.

In our presence we listened, held space, provided new perspectives, ears, recognition and acknowledgement of their incredible journeys, allow spontaneous joy and celebration as well as bring sound to honour and transform some of the very painful patterns and trauma held in people’s psyche, bodies and in the land itself.

Some of the most rewarding moments of the trip were when two of the camp survivors whose nervous system was so distraught that they could only manage to live with daily valium pills said on the 3rd day that something about the music I played had created such peace inside them that they hadn’t needed their pills for the last two days.

Another such moment occurred in one of the camps we visited and after hearing all many of the stories and deeply painful memories I played the cello, allowing all the pain and suffering held in the people and the place to express and then find its next rightful transformed space where the pattern can shift and from where healing can occur and strength can be found.

To see the transformation and gratitude on people’s faces and feel the shift in energy was deeply moving.

What an incredible time we live in!Many people out in the streets taking a stand, which says clearly that the world, as it is, does not make sense or works!

In this climate it seems like perfect timing that as we need answers to the urgent questions of how to create a different reality my friend Louis who has been a trusted companion over many years has finally written his book: ‘Dare to Care’ offering pathways perspectives and steps towards an ‘economy of love’. He has researched the depths and heights of how we can transform the current money system that creates the matrix of separation into an economy of love – remembering the principles of caring and sharing – the basic flow of the heart.

The publishers realized the urgency of this work and pushed the publication, so that it has become available just as the ’Occupy Wall Street’ movement has been moving around the world.

I feel it to have the potential to make an incredible contribution towards offering solutions to the current problems along with a huge shift in consciousness and paradigm, which is exactly what is needed at this time of fundamental change!

While I was traveling in America in April, several things were highlighted in attunements: It is more and more important to unplug from some of the more destructive aspects of our culture and society, letting go of some of the things we have taken for granted for many years. Personally I saw I needed to unplug from sugar and sleep out on the Earth to be more in direct contact and resonance with the energy-field of Earth.

Since then I am feeling the benefits of these changes…

Sound as a healer and transformer 
working with the voice as our main tool of healing and transformation

‘The creation of Sound is an alchemical process for which we are an instrument.

’In this workshop we will learn some principles of sound-healing We will also work with our voices to explore our own inner space and the expressionof inner truth through sound individually, in relation to others and in symphony with the whole.

We will learn about the alchemy of sound, healing with sound and about the alignment to the Service of sound, working with intention and the willingness to surrender to becoming an instrument. We will then expand this to working with other sound-instruments such as singingbowls & gongs and others as well as the voice, creating different vibrational fields in which we experience sound as a healing and transformational force.
