Wow February has moved with a strong energy – realigning many of us!!!
We hear of the pope resigning – maybe with shadowy motives – meteor strikes and much much more …
I’ve just spent a week in sickness and it’s taken me to a very deep place – slowing down, breathing with the larger breath and letting everything take it’s time and going very deeply into the places that I/ we keep in the unconscious – hidden, allowing the treasures from the qualities I/we are usually afraid of to come forward.
i.e. My hips that have been painful for a couple of years yet nobody could find the cause, I saw them as the portals to the ‘shadow world’ – my own and the collective unconscious – and saw that I was holding them tightly shut with great tension.
Once I made that conscious and invited the portals to open I got a glimpse through the portal. I didn’t expect what i saw; It was violence , murder, abuse.. absolute horrors and I nearly was tempted to shut the doors again when I caught myself and asked myself how and where I need to own these energies. How are they manifesting in and through me whether it’s in thought or feeling or small or big unconscious actions of violence towards myself, others or nature.
I realized that the violence lives in me in many subtle and not so subtle ways and I also connected with past lives of warrior-ship where violence was the norm. When I really felt into the energy in its pure form I noticed that it felt like powerful creative energy that couldn’t find it’s right alignment with life because of circumstances having separated it from Source and in it’s frustration it became distorted.
This gave me a view of compassion and understanding towards anyone caught in the energy of violence and abuse and also for that part of myself.
From that place I could invite this energy in me to realign with life and with Source and found myself dropping deeper and deeper – allowing the energy to sink down to the core of the earth. There it could reconnect with the greater Dream of the Earth and with the whole and then rise up again as passion aligned with life. What surprised me was that this energy was not moving fast. It was moving slowly but with enormous strength and power – like the energy of growth as I had felt it at imbolc described below:
I invite all of us to explore the treasure troves of our shadowlands to see how our most feared parts could become our greatest allies when we can see beyond their expression into their true essence and allow them to realign with the Source within.
Sonwdrops, sunshine, the sound of a bubbling spring, clear water, the first smell of spring.
Brighid is present. It is time. It is time for her return. It is time for the feminine creative power to take on her rightful place as the fundamental underlying energy of creation. I can feel the gentle but inevitable power – like the blade of grass pushing through the tarmac.
In her soft but firm stride that comes upon us like a tidal wave I see seemingly safe known structures crumble. What has been buried below emerges in uncomfortable and surprising finds that need to be dealt with and be given their rightful places in the garment of green that once again begins to spread over the land like soothing revitalizing restoring balm; It is Brighid’s mantle of fertility that allows new seeds to emerge, germinate and grow.
Having worked and co-created with the intelligence of nature as a gardener, musician, sound healer, facilitator and sensitive for many years I recently have become increasingly aware that the veils between the worlds are becoming thinner – giving me the experience of more access to other dimensions. It seems that our conscious involvement and responsible co-operation with this intelligence is becoming ever more important. With that awareness also comes the excitement that we are indeed being invited to extend ourselves towards Nature in a more active and conscious way and realize the incredible potential for creative solutions and quantum shifts that are accessible to us when we live and work more fully in co-creative partnerships with the Earth and all intelligent life on Earth – in truth, integrity, respect, honour and love.
In 2011 I spent some time living in Tamera – a peace community and eco village in Portugal, which rightfully calls itself a ‘healing- biotope’. A place where humans live with respect for, and in partnership with, all life. I experienced the practical possibility of a different way of life as a society in this current world – based on peaceful co-creation.
Upon my return I experienced the stark contrast and realization of how far the lifestyle of disconnectedness has become the norm in our western world with numbness the result.Several months later I am stirred to contribute to the reconnection of our whole culture in a more supportive and consistent way – inspiring and facilitating people to take conscious steps in creating pathways for the collective to reconnect.
I also feel that we need to get together in groups to learn to build new structures and support each other in the creation of ways of living that are more in harmony with the Earth, our deeper Nature and the interconnectedness of all life.
I celebrate the many initiatives of deep change that are emerging all over the world and would like to offer this contribution – deepening my own practice and work of the last decade.
Living in Communion with the Earth and All Life
A new venture for 2012
A nine month journey from easter to winter solstice (meeting one – two days a month)
A program for living on the Earth to assist and reconnect us to the Earth and her cycles.
In may 2011 a group of 7 of us traveled to Bosnia to join a yearly peace-conference of ‘from heart to peace’, which some of the group had been supporting and attending to for 18 years since the start of the Bosnian war in 1992. This dedicated group led and inspired by Gillian Kean and Anabel Farnel Watson had gone into Sarajevo in the middle of the war into places of danger and unrest to support those at the effect of the war and to bring hope, friendship and solidarity, where the nature of this war of ‘ethnic cleansing’ was the opposite. I felt privileged to be a part of this group allowed to contribute with music and sound as we journeyed.
At the conference met several people who had survived the horrendous concentration camps, where there had been systematic torture, rape, mutilation and killing in the most horrendous ways imaginable. I learnt about the incredible human creativity in its most distorted form. Most survivors have lost most or all of their families and still to this day suffer discrimination and hurdles at every corner, having to face the reality of people who murdered and tortured them and their families live freely and even in positions of power and authority.
I was moved by the incredible resilience and strength of the beautiful people we met, their ability to be in joy, burst into song and stay positive in the midst still rampant discrimination against them.
It became clear to me that they felt deeply supported and strengthened by the regular yearly visits from this dedicated group of friends from England who had stood in solidarity, support and friendship through thick and thin since the war began.
It seemed that because of this ongoing support over the years trust had been built and there was space for stories of incredible horror to be shared, so that they weren’t carried alone. As our group listened, held space, provided new perspectives, ears, recognition and acknowledgement of the incredible journeys shared, allow spontaneous joy and celebration as well as bring sound to honour and transform some of the very painful patterns and trauma held in people’s psyche, bodies and in the land itself.
One of the most rewarding moments of the trip for me personally were when two of the camp survivors whose nervous system was so distraught that they could only manage to live with daily valium pills said on the 3rd day that something about the music we had created had facilitated such peace inside them that they hadn’t needed their pills for the last two days.
Following the conference we journeyed through other parts of Bosnia, where we had guidance to go. Another highlight of our journey was our visit to the Bosnian Pyramids and underground labyrinths that had only recently been discovered. http://www.bosnianpyramid.com/
The landscape of Bosnia is truly beautiful – Bosnia Herzegovna being part of the heartland of Europe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina
What an incredible time we live in!Many people out in the streets taking a stand, which says clearly that the world, as it is, does not make sense or works!
Some of you know that I only recently returned from a month of immersing myself into an experience of living and working in a peace-ecovillage / healing biotope in Portugal (www.tamera.org), where I received tremendous inspiration and insight into how deeply we are entrenched within a matrix of separation in our ‘normal’ reality and what steps we can take to build a different reality that is reconnected and sane. This will powerfully inform my future work and teaching.
In this climate it seems like perfect timing that as we need answers to the urgent questions of how to create a different reality my friend Louis who has been a trusted companion over many years has finally written his book: ‘Dare to Care’ offering pathways perspectives and steps towards an ‘economy of love’. He has researched the depths and heights of how we can transform the current money system that creates the matrix of separation into an economy of love – remembering the principles of caring and sharing – the basic flow of the heart.
The publishers realized the urgency of this work and pushed the publication, so that it has become available just as the ’Occupy Wall Street’ movement has been moving around the world.
I feel it to have the potential to make an incredible contribution towards offering solutions to the current problems along with a huge shift in consciousness and paradigm, which is exactly what is needed at this time of fundamental change!
For those who are interested Here is the description of the book, which is now being launched by and available from Amazon and Cosimo:
Dare to Care, a collection of ideas and initiatives to change finance as we know it, is a platform for global citizens to work together and maneuver through the world economic and financial crisis. The ideas presented within-of changing our mindset from a money-first to a care-first attitude-are meant to stimulate thoughts about our current monetary system and economy and how we truly want them to function.
Author Louis Böhtlingk presents a workable method for us to change the way we think and feel about money, using it instead to support our fellow man, the Earth, and the gifts we all receive through each other and our planet.
Dare to Care stresses that with a care-first approach, money can support our efforts to create a better world without greed or fear of going without. Böhtlingk shares his vision for a love-based economy and a care-first world, using examples of businesses, organizations, communities, and individuals who have made this approach work for them and those they serve.
Dare to Care encourages readers to approach finance and economics from a new perspective, one which urges them to reorganize their own approach to money and empowers them to act and achieve a care-first worldview.
“In my 25 years as an entrepreneur, there has been a rule to keep one’s heart out of business decisions. Dare to Care boldly disrupts this rule with a vision of finance and economics that integrates heart and mind, left and right brain, and weaves hard economic facts with lyrical poetry. It highlights thriving businesses, banks, and non-profits which employ Care-First vs. Money-First as a long overdue pathway to true sustainability for all people of the world.” -Leslie Danziger, Co-founder and former Chairman of Solaria Corporation, USA
“Louis Böhtlingk has given us a clear way to create a renewed sense of how to assess the tools we have and our needs. The poetry of Dare to Care is a personal policy that should become the basis of a newly defined economic policy for all. How do we turn it into a new course book for candidates seeking Economic PhD degrees?” -Michaela Walsh, President/Founder of Women’s World Banking, USA

We find ourselves in the middle of a deeply significant year and time in Earth History and the month of eclipses during June and early July seems to have brought much into focus. Here we are halfway through this year 2011 and already the amount of significant world events is staggering!
While I was traveling in America in April, several things were highlighted in attunements: It is more and more important to unplug from some of the more destructive aspects of our culture and society, letting go of some of the things we have taken for granted for many years. Personally I saw I needed to unplug from sugar and sleep out on the Earth to be more in direct contact and resonance with the energy-field of Earth.
Since then I am feeling the benefits of these changes…
If you feel a resonance here you might ask yourself as to how you could unplug from a way of life that might not be sustainable. Find one habit, that you could change, which would un-stick you and bring you into deeper resonance with your true connectedness with the Universe, Nature, Peace.
